All businesses or organizations participating in the parade, or individuals with a vehicle in the parade, are required to execute our Indemnification Agreement and provide through their insurer an insurance certificate (Acord 25) naming N-CAP as an additional insured for the day of the event. 2024 Grand Marshall
Vincent Bianchi was named as the 43rd Annual Niska-Day Grand Marshall following a unanimous vote by the Niska-Day committee after nominations began in the New Year. Vincent Bianchi is unparalleled in his commitment and loyalty to the Town of Niskayuna and the Niskayuna Central School District - a career that has spanned over 54 years!
After joining the district in 1969, he served 33 years as a high-school teacher as well as Assistant Principal, Class Advisor, and Basketball, Baseball and Football Coach before becoming a Student Activities Coordinator, a position he enjoys today. Vince founded the Niskayuna Junior Warrior Youth Basketball Program and co-founded the Capital complex that introduced night games to our community. He is also active in the Niskayuna Teachers’ Association.
Throughout his tenure, Vince Bianchi was on hand to lend support, answer questions, and be an integral part of the pasts, and futures, of many Niskayuna residents, alumni, and students.
On behalf of the Town of Niskayuna, the Niskayuna Community Action Program, the Niska-Day Committee, and the residents of our great community, we thank Vincent Bianchi for his support, steadfastness, and his representation of someone we can all admire. Vince is blessed he's had the opportunity he has and we could not be more proud.
